Evil is afoot. A horrible monster, very well portrayed on the book cover, has destroyed much of the city. Captain Adaam Domando his wife Opalita, and his men must seek and battle the mage Eudo Boucher and his conjured minions created from the blood of fallen victims.I read Blood and the Blade a few months ago, enjoyed it and eagerly turned to Book 2 The Edge of Darkness when it was published. The characters are well done and quite believable, but the best parts, in my opinion, are the battles and the description of fighting techniques and weapons. The reader can "see" the action, swordplay and those nasty zombies and the battle raged. A great "You are there" feeling. I'll be looking for the third book too!
